A very inportant concept in security is back up. In other words maing a copy of important files many will store them in the hard drive but others choose to use cds, dvd and a sperate data storage ie pen drives.
some operating systems have the facitlty to take a snapshot. The smapshot can be used to restore the computer at this paticular snapshot if something was to go wrong. the snapshot is called a restore point.
